* New at Trouble With Comics, my review of Rick Geary's A Treasury of XXth Century Murder: Lovers' Lane - The Hall/Mills Mystery.
* Here's a deleted scene from Joss Whedon's Avengers movie, featuring Mark Ruffalo and Harry Dean Stanton. I thought that scene felt like there was something missing. Not that this deleted scene adds anything to it of substance.
* The Mindless Ones begins a long look at Doctor Who in comics, beginning with the era in which I first started watching the show (and reading the comics in imported Doctor Who magazines), 1979. Did anyone ever draw Tom Baker or Peter Davison better than Dave Gibbons?
* Man, I love Joe Staton's work at Charlton in the 1970s. Diversions of the Groovy Kind serves up a short story that looks just great to my eyes.
* Uncomics: I found this interview with Michael daughter and McKenzie Westmore fascinating, for the way that McKenzie sort of accidentally got involved with Star Trek and it ended up being really important to her.
