* David Brothers on maturity in the first fifty issues of Amazing Spider-Man. Related: Tony Isabella reviews recent Spidey comics, and I agree with him about the quality of Dan Slott's recent Ends of the Earth and Lizard storylines, both really felt like modern-day classics to me. I'd be hard-pressed to explain when the current-day Spider-Man comics started feeling "like Spider-Man" again, but Dan Slott's recent issues really deliver the goods.
* Writer Ed Brubaker talks about Fatale and his career in general at CBR. If I could only buy one comic book right now, it would be Fatale.
* Current-day DC comic that looks like Stormwatch from 1998. Which would be fine, if it were half as entertaining as Stormwatch was in 1998.
* Uncomics: Wishing a very happy birthday today to Christopher Allen.
