* Tom Spurgeon refuses to pay more than a dollar per issue for the recent superhero comics he's buying. That's smart. Let's everybody do that.

He talks about his increasingly busy dance card here. I'm excited to learn what projects he's going to be working on as a result of his decision to get moving on some long-simmering ideas.

* Uncomics: The New York Times calls for clemency for whistle-blower Edward Snowden.
* Uncomics: How to avoid email and phishing scams. My radar works pretty well for these, but once in a while I'll actually fall for the initial approach before realizing something is fishy.
* Uncomics: One of my best practical jokes was altering an in-studio calendar to convince a wildly popular morning radio host that it was February 30th instead of March 1st on the day after February 29th (it was a leap year). Oh, did he get some calls that morning after repeatedly (and with great authority, as was his wont) announcing "Good morning, it's Tuesday, February 30th, 1988." Turns out, there really was a February 30th, but just once.
