* Tony Isabella talks about what he would do if he rebooted the Marvel and/or DC universes, thus laying out an actionable plan that those companies could use to redeem a lot of wasted characters and ideas. Not that they will take that action. Tony also talks about Dylan Horrocks's Hicksville, which may not be totally unrelated to his ideas about reforming the corporate superhero comics universes.
* At The Comics Reporter, readers respond to a Five for Friday asking what are five superhero stories from five different decades that they like? This is one of those FFF that gave me a brain freeze, so I did not send anything in. Of all the stories listed, though, my favourites include Batman: Year One, Top 10: The Forty-Niners, Daredevil: Born Again, The Coming of Galactus (why is there no nice hardcover of this Lee and Kirby classic?), and This Man, This Monster (would make a nice supplement to the aforementioned yet non-existent HC, coming as it did one issue after the Galactus trilogy).
* Please take a moment today to take a look at the eBay auctions I have running at the moment. Very good prices on some great and hard to find comics and graphic novels by creators like Alan Moore, Ed Brubaker, Frank Miller, David Mazzucchelli, Darwyn Cooke and others.
